(East Molesey win)

Winning the toss, East Molesey chose to bowl with Gavin McMillan and Henry Glynn leading the attack.

Windsor made a solid start and had 84 runs on the scoreboard before Barry Glynn, Henry’s father, had opener Chana caught by Ben Campbell for 37.

Windsor’s other opening batsman, Chorley, also proved difficult to uproot and had contributed 40 to the total before he was bowled by McMillan.

Ben Campbell and Tapiwa Masose joined the East Molesey attack at the first change and were soon among the wickets, collecting one apiece.

However, Windsor put up stubborn resistance and reached 206 for the loss of six wickets from their 45 overs.

In reply, East Molesey’s start was less solid than their opponents and opening batsmen Henry Glynn and Neil Campbell were dismissed in quick succession to make the score 42-2.

Captain Sam Burge added 14 before he was caught by Chorley off Nichols, but Lawford then took up the running with the bat.

Partnered by first Ben Campbell and then Stuart Hamlett, he steered East Molesey to victory with seven overs to spare.
